After a longer break GRAF is launching a new series of goalie skates. GRAF created three models, the JR/G, the SR/G and the PRO/G. Mike Vaughn, who is the founder of Vaughn Custom Sports and his team, have played a leading role in the development of the new PEAKSPEED goalie line up. Their knowledge and longtime experience in building goalie equipement attracted a lot of interest among NHL goalkeepers. Most important change on the PRO/G compared to former GRAF goalie skates is a completely cowlingless skate design. To achieve this GRAF repurposed and adapted the molds of GRAF's top-of-the-line ULTRA 5000 holder to fit the needs of goalkeepers. The ULTRA 5000 Goalie Edition features a 30 feet radius and a special Steel Circle anchor. The two most impactful advant-edges are loss of weight and a less wide skate, which increases the maximal angle of attack before the inner foot touched the ice. The PRO/G has an Asymmetric Upper Construction and Contour-3D pressed quarter panels that create a anatomically correct shape for the foot and offering a perfect fit from the first Try-On.
